The book Thoughts on Playing the Horn Well written by Frøydis Ree Wekre was already translated to Deutch, French, Czech, Polish, Japanese...but not Portuguese yet!
The Portuguese version was released by AvA Musical Editions as Reflexões sobre como tocar bem trompa. The translation was done by Sofia Gomes (my wife) and my collaboration on more specific horn details, the cover and the music excerpts. It was a great honor to be able to follow this project and now all the Portuguese speakers can also get to know the thoughts of this great pedagogue on warming up, embouchure, practice and more.... music more...
I highly recommend this book to every horn player, professionals, amateurs, students (and their parents too!)
