This piece was originally composed in 2015 for flute choir (op.54a) and transcribed in 2019 for euphonium and piano (op.54b). It is based on Portuguese tradicional folk tunes from Alentejo, Trás-os-Montes, Beira Baixa, e Minho.

While transcribing it some keys were change to better suit the new setting.
