On December 19th, 2016, two new pieces I wrote for clarinet will be the premiered during the ClarMeet.Porto’16,  that will be held at the Conservatório de Música do Porto, Oporto, Portugal.

At 12:00 a.m. will be premiered the The Human Puppet, op.70 for Clarinet and Percussion (steel drum alto & cajon) with option dance performer, dedicated to the ClapDuo
Cândida Oliveira - Clarinet, Bruno Costa - Percussion, with Carla P. Loureiro as the special guest dance performer.
It is a piece that help us to do a reflection on the human condition and the free will, where a musical soundscape of a human puppet is illustrated by a dance performer.

At 3:15 p.m. the piece R u tall king tummy?, op.69 for clarinet sextet and drums, will be premiered by the Black & White 6tet.
It is a very energetic piece, mixing the blues and the world music, that every one will enjoy!

These are just two concertos of a very interesting music festival organised by the Portuguese Clarinet Association.

 

The piece Traveling for flute and alto flute was published today at Scherzo Editions

The song A aranha e os alfaiates, for children choir and piano  on a poem by Antonio Torrado, is now available for download at the cantar mais project website.

The piece I don't want to join the Army, for trumpet quartet was published at AvA Musical Editions.

On September 24th 2016, by 4p.m. at Sala 2, Casa da Música,Oporto will be premiered the work "A aranha e os alfaiates" that I wrote for children choir and piano, based on a poem by António Torrado (*1939). It will be premiered by the Coro dos Pequenos Cantores de Esposende, with Helena Venda Lima as a conductor.
